Medication Policy

We accept most medications at Next Chance recovery home. Our medication policy allows residents to hold only one weeks worth of medication at a time. Weekly medication organizers are provided to each client to encourage them to take their medications responsibly. Pill organizers prevent the missing and mis-taking of medications, and allows residents to see missed doses clearly.

Some things are not allowed to be used or consumed while living at Next Chance. These include Kambucha drinks, Poppy Seeds (sometimes found in baked goods and everything bagel seasoning), and CBD products of any kind.

All over the counter medications should be discussed with house director prior to use with the exception of Acetaminophen (Tylenol), NSAIDS (Ibuprofen), birth control or hormone regulating medications, and allergy relief medications.

Buying, trading, selling, and taking any medications that is not prescribed to you is ILLEGAL and will result in immediate discharge from the house.
