Resident Rules

Drug Testing will be assigned randomly each week. All residents are subject to a drug test or breathalyzer at any time. Failure to provide for a test, or a positive result on any tests that were not otherwise expected, will result in IMMEDIATE discharge. We take drug testing seriously here, with additional testing included for Gabapentin, Ritalin, K2, Kratom, and ETG which can detect alcohol in urine up to 72 hours after consuming last drink. Click here to read more about our relapse policy.

All Residents coming from a facility are REQUIRED to follow through assigned aftercare plans. This information must be provided to director prior to admission.

There is a MANDATORY weekly house meeting. Tuesdays at 7:30pm in Sandwich and Wednesdays at 6:15pm in Falmouth. Every effort must be made to prevent the absence of the house meeting, and if it will be missed for any reason, it must be discussed prior with the director AND the house manager.

Residents are expected to attend a MINIMUM OF 6 outside fellowship meetings per week while unemployed, and a MINIMUM OF 3 outside fellowship meetings while employed.

Monday through Friday there is an in-house daily reflection group at 1pm. All residents are REQUIRED to attend unless work, outpatient treatment, doctor’s appointment, or other scheduled event conflicts with this time. Copy of work schedule or appointment cards/paperwork may be requested to approve your absence.

Curfew is 10pm in the first 30 days. After 30 days, Curfew is 11 pm. Fellowship events and other circumstances will allow later curfew as long as it is discussed first with the house manager. Different rules may also apply depending on job, but must also be discussed prior.

Once resident has been at the home for over 30 days, they are allowed to spend two nights per week outside the home.

An overnight voucher form must be completed for each night. Notice of an overnight must be given at least 24 hours’ in advance and written on the calendar PRIOR to taking an overnight. NO EXCEPTIONS.

No back-to-back overnights are allowed until resident joins a 12-step fellowship and becomes active in a home-group.

Residents will be assigned a house chore each week. Chores must be completed daily, and checked off chore board when finished. Repeated failure to perform chores may result in loss of other privileges.

Men are NOT ALLOWED inside the house. The visit of immediate male family members may be allowed circumstantially, but permission must be granted prior to their arrival.

Smoking is allowed in the backyard or on the back porch only. Cigarettes must be disposed of in cigarette receptacle. Smoking inside the house will result in IMMEDIATE discharge. This includes vaping.

There is absolutely NO eating of other residents’ food. You will be in charge of labeling your food with your initials. Pens are provided on fridge for this purpose. Theft of any food is grounds for discharge.

Personal bathroom products/toiletries and razors are not to be left in the shower. Shower caddies will be provided to each resident for this reason. Store them in your room to prevent another resident’s use.

Every bedroom door has a keypad lock. You will be allowed to create your own code, which you will not be allowed to share with any other resident. You are only allowed in your own room or in the common areas, and should never be in another resident’s room without them being present.

You are allowed to have your own vehicle at the house, BUT if you choose to do so, no one else is allowed to drive your vehicle expect for you. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Rent is $220 per week and is due during house meeting. Rent may be given sooner at any point, directly to the house manager.

BE RESPECTFUL. Everyone living in the house has their own lives and with that comes their own personal responsibilities and personal struggles. Please respect each other’s space, keep common areas clean by picking up after yourself, and being mindful of those you share your home with.
